Welcome to Hedgehogs Class! 

Our teacher is Miss Wood and our teaching assistants are Miss Jeyes and Mrs Bastick . 

In year 1 and 2 we work very hard on developing our reading, writing and maths skills every day. We particularly enjoy our Phonics lessons and using Reading Eggs to improve our reading skills. By the time we get into Year 2 we start to use TT Rockstars to practise our times tables. We love exploring the world around us and using nature in our lessons. We visit our village regularly, including our lovely village church. Last November we made a Remembrance Wreath and laid it at the War Memorial in our village to remember the fallen soldiers from Mears Ashby.
