PSHE

We teach PSHE through the Jigsaw scheme of work, which covers all aspects of personal, social and health education as well as online safety and relationships education. 

PE

We teach PE using the PE Hub schemes of work. Each year we enter the Northamptonshire Sport festival of sport and School Games competitions enabling our pupils to experience competitive and non competitive sporting events with a range of other schools. These include Football, New Age Kurling, Boccia, Athletics and others. We enter a team into the district Cross Country Championships ever year. All pupils in KS2 have the opportunity to learn to swim until they met the requirements of the National Curriculum. 

Spanish

We teach Spanish to pupils in Y3 - Y6 using Language Angels. 

Music

We teach a wide range of musical genres using the KAPOW scheme of work. Pupils in Y3/4 also have the opportunity to experience sessions led by an expert teacher from NMPAT once a year. See our Music development plan for more details. 

Computing

We teach computing using Purple Mash. Pupils have access to a wide range of programmes and applications on their platform which enable the progression of their computing skills including coding.
